Pyper Davis ’87

Pyper Davis is the executive director of Educare DC, a nationally accredited, early childhood education program that directly serves 160 children and their families. Educare DC is part of the 23-school Educare Learning Network of high-quality, research-based early childhood programs that prepare at-risk children for school. Before Educare, Davis spent over 10 years as the chief operating officer of The SEED Foundation, where she was instrumental in developing expansion strategy, talent and training, and infrastructure within SEED’s college-prep boarding school network.  Prior to joining SEED, Pyper spent nine years in the television business, primarily as an executive with The News Corporation in Europe, Asia and the U.S.  While at News Corp., Davis helped create two successful joint ventures in Asia, launched and managed operations for Fox’s new cable sports business, Fox Sports Net, and served as president of cable network, FIT TV. Davis started her career as a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley.  Davis was honored to serve as a Trustee from 2011-2015. She also has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
