Linda Frankenbach ’74

Linda Frankenbach spent her career in the evolving world of television. She held senior roles in product management, sales, marketing and business development at Home Box Office, Time Warner Cable and Cablevision. Her passion has been the creation and launch of new businesses. When the cable television programming business was exploding, Linda worked on the teams that created and launched HBO, Cinemax, Comedy Central and Court TV. Later, Linda founded her own company, fitsmi Inc. to help overweight teen girls and the parents of children struggling with their weight by providing live online coaching and community support.

Linda has served as a member of the Bronxville, New York Board of Education and of the Board of Directors of The Women’s Campaign Fund (WCF). She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of She Should Run (SSR) whose mission is to motivate qualified women to run for elected office and support them as they launch their political careers. Linda also serves as the Co-Chair of the Board of i-tri, a growing not-for -profit on the East End of Long Island that mentors and empowers middle school girls. Ms. Frankenbach resides in Bridgehampton, NY and NYC with her husband Hendrik Kranenburg, Woodrow Wilson School *78. She is the proud mother of 2 twenty- somethings Kate Kranenburg, Dartmouth ‘13 and Todd Kranenburg, Princeton ’15 who, of course, live in Brooklyn.
