Elizabeth Lindsey *07

Elizabeth Lindsey is the Executive Director of Byte Back, a Washington, DC based nonprofit connecting communities with inclusive tech training and pathways into living-wage careers. Under Elizabeth’s leadership, Byte Back’s innovative training pathway is earning national attention. She earned her master’s in public affairs and urban and regional planning from Princeton and her bachelor’s from Swarthmore.

This year, Elizabeth led a panel at SXSW and won $720,000 for Byte Back in the WeWork Creator Awards. As a recognized innovator, she’s been featured in the Washington Business Journal, named a Tech Titan by the Washingtonian, and won the New Power Woman of DC Tech award and Champion of Digital Equality award.

She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, The Workplace DC, the Goodwill Excel Center, and The Engine Room. She is as an Organizer for 23,000 members of DC Tech Meetup and was named a top 100 leadership speaker for 2018 in Inc. magazine.
