Anita (Woerner) Ortiz ’93

Anita is responsible for building brand-specific Diversity & Inclusion strategies on the West Coast in coordination with senior Viacom leaders. She partners closely with departments including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Corporate Responsibility to create effective employee engagement and development programs that foster a culture of belonging. Anita joined the company in 1998 as an executive assistant in Paramount’s International TV division, before segueing into increasingly responsible positions in Government & Community Relations and transitioning to the Office of Global Inclusion.

Anita has held positions on several non-profit boards including the Environmental Media Association and is a long-time volunteer with the Posse Foundation and Students Run LA. Her favorite new pastime is spending time with her two year-old grandson, Charlie.
