Jill Smolowe is the author of the memoirs “Four Funerals and a Wedding: Resilience in a Time of Grief” and “An Empty Lap,” and co-editor of the adoption anthology “A Love Like No Other.” An award-winning journalist, she met weekly deadlines for 37 years as a writer for Time, Newsweek and People. Following the death of her husband and several family members, Smolowe embarked on a new career to work with people who are grappling with loss issues. As a certified grief coach, she helps clients across the U.S., Europe and Asia to identify, then take, steps to restore momentum, purpose and joy to their lives.
