Emma B. Bloomberg ’01

Emma Bloomberg is the founder and CEO of Murmuration, a political nonprofit developing shared political infrastructure and coordinated support for political change to massively improve outcomes for all U.S. children. Prior to launching Murmuration in 2014, Blomberg spent seven years at Robin Hood, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty in the five boroughs of New York City. Understanding from personal experience the importance of having strong and dedicated board members (and always aspiring to be one), Bloomberg currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for Leadership for Educational Equity. She also sits on the boards of the Bloomberg Family Foundation, the Park Avenue Armory, and the KIPP Foundation. She is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2006 and the Harvard Business School in 2007, and is an avid golfer, reader and cook. But really, she loves nothing more than spending time with her daughter and their three dogs.
