Emily Whitaker ’15

Emily Whitaker is a music director, pianist, and teaching artist from upstate New York. After graduating with a BA in Music and Theater from Princeton University, she began working on musical theater projects in the New York area. Favorite recent credits include The Band’s Visit on Broadway and with the Atlantic Theater Company, Into the Woods with Fiasco Theater, and Unknown Soldier at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She has performed in renowned New York venues such as 54 Below, the Duplex, and Don’t Tell Mama. She also works as a music director for improv comedy and recently completed a Masters in musicology at Columbia University. Emily is a proud teaching artist with TADA! Youth Theater and McCarter Theater Center.

Women in the Arts Showcase

Thursday, October 4

Please join us for the Opening Reception and Women in the Arts Showcase to hear from a select group of alumni artists and student groups, and participate in interactive/collaborative creative activities. The Opening Reception will kick off in the New South tent at 6:30 p.m., followed by various performances, displays, and activities in the tent and the Lewis Arts complex beginning at 7:30 p.m. There will also be work by visual artists on display throughout the weekend at Maclean House.
