Vayne Ong ’20

Vayne is a junior in the history department pursuing certificates in urban studies and German and focusing on the intersection of race, urban design, and housing policy. Born in Malaysia, she grew up on the Jersey Shore and currently lives in Edison, NJ. Outside of the classroom, she is co-president of the Princeton Women’s Alliance (formerly the Princeton Women’s Mentorship Program), junior captain of the Princeton Bhangra team, a Community Action leader, research assistant in the German department, and graphic design intern in the Center for Collaborative History. After Princeton, she plans to pursue a career in urban planning to make cities more inclusive, accessible, and navigable spaces.
