Erica Dugué is a sophomore from Washington, DC, a prospective major in Sociology with a certificate in French Language & Culture. On campus, Erica is involved with a number of different student organizations, including her work as a Fields Fellow at the Carl A. Fields Center for Equality & Cultural Understanding, and a first-year orientation leader. Erica is more than excited about the opportunities she’s been able to pursue since beginning her undergraduate experience, opportunities she is aware generations before her had to fight to attain. She attributes her success to her mother, who has made countless sacrifices to get Erica where she is; and taught her the value of hard work, a good education, and a full heart.
