Women’s History of Princeton Self-Guided Walking Tour

Stories of Women at Princeton guides users in exploring the history of women affiliated with Princeton University, from the enslaved women owned by faculty and administrators in the 1700s to the administrators, faculty, staff, and students of today. Tours are web-based and mobile friendly, and work on any device with an Internet connection. Users are encouraged to listen to the audio and explore the supplemental media associated with each stop. The full walking length is just over 3 miles, so feel free to launch the content for a stop without actually walking there. Users also have the option to launch the content for individual stops as they come across the corresponding sidewalk stickers placed around campus. Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on the sticker, or type into your browser the “bit.ly” short URL written out beneath the image.
